Microsoft has revealed that it is to launch a Simpsons-themed version of the Xbox 360. With the console itself and the controller given a lick of glossy yellow paint, not to mention a representation of Homer’s famous bald noggin, this 360 has been conjured up to help promote the forthcoming Simpsons feature film. According to a report on Engadget, the console is the Premium model (20GB hard drive) rather than the new HDMI-toting Elite version, but don’t expect to find it on the shelves in your local games emporium – there are only 100 being made, and all will be given out for promotion purposes. D’oh indeed
